About Us
Originally from King, NC, I grew up just on the outskirts of the Fancy Gap / Blue Ridge Parkway region, roughly an hour’s drive away. My family and I often took trips to the mountains, often searching for those endless views and colorful leaves. My husband, Isaac, is a proud native of Galax, VA. Despite initially settling in Winston-Salem, NC after tying the knot, his heart has always remained in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
After college, I embarked on a career as a medical coder at Baptist Hospital, envisioning a path of climbing the corporate ladder until retirement. However, the landscape of remote work soon emerged, presenting new possibilities. With the freedom of working from home, my husband and I began contemplating entrepreneurship, despite his stable job in the aerospace industry. It was a risk we were willing to take.
Recognizing the potential in starting our own business, I made the decision to leave my medical coding career behind to pursue this dream alongside my husband. In July of 2016, I obtained my license as a PMIC, marking a pivotal moment in our journey. Since then, we’ve assumed management of numerous vacation rentals across various destinations.
Hospitality runs deep in our veins. We find immense joy in serving others, a driving force behind our venture into the vacation rental industry. With two young children, Embree and Taevyn, we aspire for our business to become a lasting legacy for them.
Our profound connection to the Blue Ridge Parkway has paved the way for an exciting opportunity. We’re thrilled to introduce the Casago franchise to the community, equipped with an array of tools and resources previously unavailable in this area. The pure beauty of Southwest Virginia certainly deserves wider recognition! Our aim is to elevate the tourism industry in Galax, Carroll, and Grayson County, providing property owners along the Blue Ridge Parkway with a reputable vacation rental company they can trust.
